Hi Ellen

Look up "sphynx cat boo" in Google as he was a certified as a therapy cat in the USA. His owners are quite eccentric as you will see :)

I'm thinking of having my cat become a therapy cat in the future. I've heard Sphynx are known for being very empathic. Anyone know about this??

Hi Lisa , thanks for dropping by and leaving a comment!

Absolutely, to own a Sphynx is to have companionship 24/7. They would make great companion animals for hospital visits and old people's homes I think

"Sphynxes are really dog-like in how the love you 100% of the time, and will run to you when you get home from work. They will learn tricks for attention, and are smart enough to figure out things that they shouldn’t, like how to get into all sorts of mischief."

That is so true! I have never met a cat that would be melted to my side 24/7 like our girl Sphynx. She just wants to be my constant companion. Thankfully, I thoroughly enjoy her company. :)
