2010 Year Of The Sphynx Cat

2010 is going to be a big year for Sphynx cats. Starting with the release of the new movie Cats and Dogs: Revenge of Kitty Galore.
As you can see from the trailer below, Kitty Galore (the baddy) is a female Sphynx cat. From the trailer it seems that the movie makers have done quite a good job of rendering Kitty Galore as a CGI character. With the voice of Bette Midler, Kitty Galore is a rogue spy cat that both cats and dogs must battle to stop her nefarious plans for world domination. While it is disappointing that again Sphynxes are playing the role of an “evil” entity, I am sure she will be attractive to adults and children alike.
Look out for the movie in July.
The movie looks like it could be entertaining especially with Better Midler playing Kitty Galore. I think she is an excellent choice.
But, having a sphynx cat play the evil doer does not present the species in the wonderful light they should be. Sigh…
Luna and Pierre must not be pleased!
I wish the enterainment business would stop portraying our loved Nudies in a negative way.
