Sphynx Cat Shiver

The temperature has dropped suddenly over the last couple of days and both our Sphynx cats instantly felt the cold.
Pierre the Sphynx Kitten and Luna the Sphynx Cat are both working out the pecking order around the house and this is leading to them having some interesting discussions over who sits on which heat source (they are not comfortable enough with each other to both share one… yet).
Around the house we have 2 cat houses with heat mats, one large heat mat (I dream one day to find them both cuddled on it) and several oil heaters, of which only one is currently turned on in the master bedroom. Pierre seems adamant that he should have all of the heats sources, all at once.
It is vitally important that Sphynx cats are kept consistently warm as without fur they feel the cold. Also, like humans, if you are burning a lot of your energy trying to keep warm, you can get run down and pick up illnesses, so keep your Sphynx warm!

I just discovered you can get a heated house all in one! Definitely would have gone for one of these rather than build my own. Still the Sphynxes love their heated hidey holes.
